Haircare giant Sta-Sof-Fro, being at the forefront of empowering women, has risen to the ocassion by creating the Wear You sessions. A movement that celebrates the #versastyle* woman, Wear You is a meeting of the minds of women from all walks of life, with one thing in common- they are real women living in the real world.
This weekend, Sta- Sof- Fro hosted the second of the 3 part series titled the Wear You Salon Seminars. Ferguson’s on 5th in Gauteng’s leafy suburb of Illovo played home to the interactive women’s empowerment platform.
Mamakashaka founder Nandi Dlepu, Celebrity Chef Nti Ramaboa, Style Therapist Kwena Baloyi and Cheri Yase Kasi founder Sunshine Shibambo hosted over 80 ladies to share experiences, tips and insights from the tales of their respective career journeys.
The ladies formed part of a greater panel of 12 hand-picked leaders from various industries in an ever-changing world.
“We want ladies to leave here motivated, inspired and confident in their truth and I believe that’s precisely what happened. The ladies shared their stories like never before, painting a picture of the entrepreneurial journey in the creative space- in essence showing first hand the Profitability of Passion,” commented Sta- Sof- Fro Brand Manager Lerato Selepe.

The final salon seminar, titled “The Balancing Act” will focus on a reality all South African women face with their daily obligations. Dr Nandipha Sekeleni, fitness guru Mapule Ndhlovu and media personalities Palesa Masiteng and Lerato Sengadi will share their experiences and insights on their personal journeys as women juggling a lot on their plate.
